Information we collect
We collect information needed to run the app, provide AI editing, manage credits and purchases, and keep accounts secure.
- Photos and edit inputs. When you choose a photo for AI editing, the selected photo, edit prompt, masks, and related edit settings may be uploaded to PhotoPilot's backend so the edit can be processed.
- Account information. If you sign in, we collect account identifiers such as your email address, Supabase user ID, and sign-in provider information from Apple, Google, or email authentication.
- Purchase and entitlement information. We process purchase, subscription, credit balance, and restore-purchase information through app-store billing and RevenueCat.
- Device and security information. We use device identifiers, app attestation or integrity signals, IP address, and request metadata to prevent abuse, manage credits, and secure the service.
- Ads information. The app may show rewarded ads. Ad delivery and verification may involve Google AdMob identifiers and server-side verification data.
- Support information. If you contact us, we collect the information you include in your support request.
How we use information
- To provide photo import, AI editing, export, account, and credit features.
- To process purchases, subscriptions, rewarded ads, restores, refunds, and account entitlements.
- To secure the app, detect fraud or abuse, and enforce usage limits.
- To respond to support requests and improve reliability.
- To comply with legal obligations and app-store requirements.
AI processing and photos
PhotoPilot processes only the photos you select for editing. Your original photo in your device photo library is not modified by PhotoPilot. AI edits may be processed by our backend and third-party model providers. We configure providers not to retain user photographs for model training when provider settings allow that choice.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share information with service providers that help us operate PhotoPilot, including hosting, storage, authentication, AI model processing, purchases, payments, ads, and app-store review services. These providers process information only for the services they provide to us, subject to their own terms and policies.
Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide PhotoPilot, maintain purchase and credit records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and support account deletion. Temporary processing files may be deleted sooner. Photos saved to your device photo library remain under your control.
Your choices
- You can use basic import and local editing features without signing in.
- You can choose whether to grant camera or photo-library permissions in your device settings.
- You can sign out in the app.
- You can delete your PhotoPilot account in the app from Profile, or follow the instructions on the delete account page.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions through Google Play or Apple, depending on where you purchased.
Children
PhotoPilot is not directed to children under 13 and is not intended for use by children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
International processing
Information may be processed in countries other than where you live. By using PhotoPilot, you understand that information may be transferred to and processed in those locations.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. If changes are material, we will update the date above and may provide additional notice in the app or on this website.
